Worst Client Ever Favourite Nails Part 4 – Acrylic Cut Out

Kirsty: Hi everybody, I’m Kirsty Meakin from Naio Nails. This is the last part of the Fay’s favourites. Fay: Can you call it a trilogy? Kirsty: No, it’s four.
Adam: Quadrilogy… Kirsty: Quadrilogy.
Adam: …because this is the fourth. Fay: Okay, quadrilogy.
Kirsty: A quadrilogy, yeah, of Fay’s faves. Kirsty: Let’s get started. So, I’ve obviously, already prepped Fay’s nail, and this is something a little bit new because I’ll have to stretch my abilities. Kirsty: I like to try things that are new.
Fay: Go to use of the dictionary. Vocab. Kirsty: Vocab.
Fay: Of course, vocab, Kirsty. Kirsty: Well, my vocab is terrible.
Adam: She sounds very condescending there. Fay: Oh, shut up, Adam.
Adam: Sarcastic. Kirsty: Yeah! Fay: It’s not a joke.
Adam: That’s the word. Fay: It’s not a joke, Adam.
Adam: What isn’t a joke? Fay: I’m not joking about this Kirsty.
Kirsty: Not me. No, we’d never. Adam: Not her?
Fay: That sounds condescending and sarcastic. Kirsty: Sorry! Kirsty: Right, okay! Let’s have a look.
Fay: That’s your fault, Adam. You started that. Kirsty: Oh, here we go. They’ve start arguing now. Adam: I’m not arguing with her, she’s talking to herself.
Fay: No, I’m talking to you. Don’t be rude. Fay: What were you telling Kirsty earlier? Kirsty: I am going to put on a Nail Prep Dehydrator and Ultra Bond Acid Primer Always works best for you, don’t it that one? Right! What I’m gonna do first of all is, we’re gonna build out a little bit of thin Clear layer. Make contact with that natural nail. You’re gonna pull down to a four. We are doing the modern almond nail. Fay: You’re being really mean today.
Adam: Who is? Fay: You are.
Adam: Why? Adam: I’m literally saying nothing. I haven’t done anything. I wasn’t even looking at you. Fay: No, you’re so being mean. You’re being mean now.
Kirsty: Mean with his eyes. Fay: No, it’s just the things he’s saying, he’s just mean, Kirsty.
Kirsty: Aww! You’ll have to get over it won’t you. Adam: Because she couldn’t use the oven earlier on, that’s what it is. Fay: Can you imagine my melting my nail, she’d have hep. Adam: Do you have to be careful of that? Kirsty: Well…
Fay: Yeah! Kirsty: …yeah, a lighter…
Fay: I have melted them. Kirsty: …will or you know, flame. Adam: Mm!
Kirsty: Naked flame will melt nails. Adam: Fast? Like quickly.
Kirsty: Well, I’ve never seen them set alight. Kirsty: Right! My darling, we are going to do… [Fay & Kirsty singing] Kirsty: Stop moving about!
Fay: Well I can’t help but laughing about the pizza boy. Kirsty: No, you need to stop moving now. You’re doing me nuts in. Fay: Stop being so bossy. It’s not all about you all the time.
Kirsty: Yes it is. Fay: Are you getting test off with us?
Kirsty: Whoever told you it wasn’t. Fay: Mistaken. Kirsty: Right! So, I’m gonna put the Natural Beige on and we’re sort of gonna go just over halfway. You’re not gonna go down the middle. And I’m going to tap-tap-tap on the top, keeping it as straight as you can with your brush. I see a little dip. Let’s get rid of that dip there. Right! Net in Clear. This was the first part that I did, so I’m gonna net there. Press. You always wanna start at the section that you did first. That was this end here. I will leave it like that. There you are. Tadaa! New form of nail art. Let’s tickle that out. How cool is that? Right! We’re gonna take our colours, which are Berrylicious and Rock and Roll.
Fay: No were not. Kirsty: Oh, yeah, we are. [Fay singing] Fay: Is it Wiley? [Kirsty singing] Kirsty: That one, no.
Fay: No! Kirsty: Definitely not Wiley. This is called Rock and Roll, we’re gonna put it at the back here and slide it down. Bit of Berrylicious now. Overlap, blend, drag down. Bit of Diamonds are Forever. Look at that. Just skipping over that. Fay: You know what that looks like?
Kirsty: What? Fay: One of them weather cones.
Kirsty: Oh, yeah. Yeah, I see it. Fay: Are you being sarcastic again? Kirsty: No, I see it.
Fay: Adam, she’s being sarcastic. Kirsty: Well, he’s mean anyway so he’s not gonna help you. Right! So now, we’re gonna take Clear, you’re gonna go directly over the top. You’re gonna build up some height. I’m gonna try and force these sides straight like that, so they’re kind of…got a bit of a wall. Fay: Adam’s being mean. Adam: I’m gonna be mean. Do you know what I’m gonna do?
Fay: What have I done to you. Adam: Do you know what I’m gonna do?
Fay: What? What, Adam? Adam: I’m gonna get a shot of you. I’ll put you on camera and that camera is now gonna stay there. Fay: No, Adam. Adam: Hey, Fay. Fay: No, I don’t want to be on camera.
Adam: Say hello to everybody, Fay. Fay: No! Adam: Come on, Fay.
Kirsty: Fay, say hello! Fay: No!
Adam: You’re gorgeous, man. Say hello to everybody. Fay: No! Kirsty: And she’s having a no makeup day.
Adam: Oh yeah, she’s got no makeup on, okay. Fay: I don’t wanna go on camera. Adam: Now, that was being mean.
Fay: Yeah, you’re being mean. Kirsty: What we need to do now is, we need this to set up and then we’re gonna… just like that. So, we’ve cut off the side. I have got a brand new file, I’ve taking the corners off. So, I have made sure it’s not going to cut. However, because it’s brand-new, it is nice and sharp, so I can go at the sides. See how I’m supporting the nail with my hand and my fingers because there’s a, you know, a bit of pressure going on there. Fay: Adam, can I have a drink, please, I’m thirsty. Kirsty: I’m just telling them what I’m doing.
Fay: Thanks, pudding. Kirsty: So, we’ve got this gorgeous little section here and then, we’re going to use… I was gonna say Disco in Venice. It’s not, it’s a carnival. Carnival in Venice. So, we’re gonna put it right down the side, so it’s nice and blingy. Adam: Blingy.
Kirsty: Blingy nail. Oh, it’s beautiful! Kirsty: I’m gonna encapsulate the glitter in Clear. So, we’ve got lots of nice structure. So, once we’ve pinched that, we gonna take the form off. So, sidewalls, normal filing routine. I am gonna go over with an e-file just to debulk a little bit. You can see how much we’re gonna file because you can see the thickness there. So, get the e-file on the go. Now, let’s go to our 240-bit file around the cuticle area. Bit of buffage. Adam: Buffage.
Kirsty: Bit off buffage. Kirsty: Not just buff, it’s a buffage. Get it nice and smooth. Give it a wipe over. I’m gonna use Acetone just so I melt the top layer a little bit, just so I can really see. Oh, yeah! Fay: Mmm! Really nice.
Kirsty: It’s like a 2-in-1 nail. Kirsty: Let’s seal with the gel top coat. Just like an alternate into doing this sort of center cut look that we used the nail file to create the sharp edges, rather than cutting through the actual product and we added a bit of netting as well. Cool! Pop that on. Fay: Oh, you’re dead rough. Kirsty: Oh, bit of cuticle oil.
Fay: Is that a bit of pink. Correct me. Fay: Cuteser.
Kirsty: They’ve had a bit of rubbage. Fay: Yeah, well…
Kirsty: See this one isn’t red anymore because it’s had no rubbage. Kirsty: It’s calm down. I really love this effect. This… Fay: Yeah, with the…
Kirsty: Yeah. Fay: It’s like it’s sort of fish scales. Kirsty: My God, yeah!
Adam: I did actually. Kirsty: It is.
Adam: ..and she didn’t wanna say anything just in case you’re offended. Kirsty: Yeah. Oh, I love it! There you are, guys. I hope you’ve enjoyed this video of Fay’s favourites. Are they your favourites? Please, comment below, and tell us if these aren’t your favourites, what are your favourites? See you in the next video. Bye-bye! Adam: Hey, give us five if you want.
Fay: No, I thought we got five. Adam: Give me five! Fay: Put a bit of net Natural Bleige on
Kirsty: Natural Beige. Kirsty: Bleige? She’s making words up.
Fay: maybe. Kirsty: Natural what? Bleige! Kirsty: It’s Natural Bleige, darling. Natural Bleige.
Fay: What’s it done?
