  • The peels are by far my favorite videos. Thanks for showing the follow-ups. I'm sure this patient was feeling much better afterward. Good job!

  • Enjoyed that so much. You are such a good physician, you care for your patients and it shows. So glad you get some time off, enjoy your leave. Glad too that you have another audiologists coming in. 👏🏻💐

  • Loved your video today. Getting close to the ear drum always makes me tense, but you always succeed in close cleaning! Great job 🇺🇸

  • That was absolutely incredible!!! What a great video and satisfying to watch as all of your videos…. Enjoy your much needed and deserved leave next week with your lovely wife…

  • My goodness. Difference was amazing. Skin peels are definitely my favourite. There is nothing more satisfying then watching those flaps of skin removed. I wish I knew why but I simply don't. Congratulations Rhys on your new team member. Enjoy your time off. Much love to the wife.

  • This is the best video ever. I love it when the wax starts to peel away and then a big piece starts separating. 🤔 I think I enjoyed this too much.

  • What a great start to my day!
(Eating a muffin and drinking coffee)
Love that you helped them so much!
    Have a safe holiday!

  • I'll miss you next week, but I hope you have a great vacation (holiday). Congratulations on getting your new audiologist! I can't wait to get to know him/her.

  • Yay! So glad there'll be more help, maybe more videos? 😉 Hope you enjoy your vacation, and thank you for another wonderful video 🙂

  • That was brilliant ! If I ever need ear treatment, guess where I’ll be going? 😉 Down from Scotland too! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  • I would like more of this style – following a single patient's complex issue over multiple visits – whenever possible please. =)

  • Hi Mr Barber, I meant ask what causes such a an infection like this, what a state this ear was in, very clever man you are taking all tat away, will miss you next week. Margaret x

  • Tidy peel Rhys. Do any of your patients sneeze or cough when you do this procedure? when I've had my ear cleaned, It always makes me sneeze or cough when the left one is done! I do enjoy the appearance of the crocodile forceps 😀

  • ok, stupid question alert……would it not be good idea to create a small rubber grommet or at rubber tip with a beveled edge to use at the end of the tube to prevent further agrivation to the cannal wall?

  • That was so interesting – thank you for showing us the different stages. Congrats on your new Audiologist – best of luck to them & you. Enjoy your time off – you will be missed 😊👂👂

  • Just wow. I've not seen ear infection before; it looks terribly uncomfortable. Thank you for explaining throughout the 3 day process. Enjoy your time off and congrats on your new colleague!

  • Congrats on the new addition to the 'family'!
That skin peel was EXCELLENT. Enjoy your time off, we'll all be ready and waiting for your return.

  • I do love a good skin peel! It was amazing to see the difference between their first visit and their last too. Definitely a winning formula!

  • Really really interesting to see a patient return twice and the difference in their ear. Enjoy your leave and congratulations on your new hire. I'm so pleased you're becoming popular enough to need one!

  • Great work! It's nice to see the progress with the patient. Thanks for sharing! Have a great time on your leave and congrats on getting another audiologist! ; )

  • I really like your thoroughness and professionalism in doing your work! Congratulations on hiring your new audiologist and enjoy your time off!

  • You are just amazing. And I wholeheartedly agree, skin peels are where the men are separated from the boys, and my gosh are they ever so… satisfying!…

  • Good Heavens, that infection gave me the willies, but I couldn't stop watching. Being a waxaholic, I'm curious as to how much addiction rehab will cost. 😂 Happy to hear you're getting help. Sad that you'll be on holiday, but happy you'll get some rest. Take care!

  • Enjoy your time off with mrs. B. Take time to take time. Hope you get to do some of the things you like. Happy week to you and your family.🥂

  • Hi Mr Barber, I was wondering if once your new audiologist is all settled in and you guys are less busy, if we could have a week of 5 videos again because getting a new audiologist would be a special occasion right. Or I was wondering if you are going to do another hour video like you did last February again , I know that was for a special occasion 100000 subscribers, I did notice you're almost at 200,000

  • Congratulations on hiring the new audiologist!!! I’m excited to see what new content this allows you to create 🙂 Speaking of, I love being able to see the follow up appointments so thank you for this format.

  • I believe i was one to ask about the transition
So thank you. Very interesting informative and educational. Plus those skin peels are magnificent.

  • If you are not infected and just blocked, are you able to describe what the sensation of have a ‘clean’ or ‘unblocking’ feels like for the patient? I just have this thing where I thing it would feel good.

  • I doubt you will see this but I’ll try anyways. Have you ever seen a ear that constantly slowly drains thin opaque milky discharge that smells like vinegar? My GP thought it was swimmers ear, but after finishing treatment for it the problem still persists. It drains so much that my pillow is damp in the morning around the area my ear was. Love your videos! Thank you!

  • Thanks so much for this extremely interesting video. I really enjoyed it.

I'm glad you've found a new team member, I hope it's the start of a beautiful friendship 🙂

Last, but not least, have a great week off Rhys. You deserve some downtime 🙂

  • I would love to know the difference this makes in hearing – the results of a hearing test before and after. That would be great information!

  • Can't wait for your videos to be back to normal on Monday Wednesday and Friday?! Hope you had a lovely time on your annual leave xx

  • Ooh, I'm envisioning how good it felt (for the patient), to get those last few peels taken off. Man, to recover from that infection and to finally hear well again, YEASSS!
Great content, thanks for sharing. Love ur channel.

  • Last video uploaded 11/01/19? Have you uploaded since then. Been watching the Old ones over again, because I need my fix. Actually, l like to relax to these as I go to sleep. Hope we see some more soon. These are the best!

  • I've watched so many of these I think I'm legitimately learning things

Me: I just want to grab on to that plate with the crocodile forceps
Rhys: Now we're going in with he crocodile forceps
    Me: 😀

  • I love this channel and the videos! The only problem is I eventually have to mute them. 😢 The talking is so non- stop (though extremely informative) it actually makes me anxious! I know, I'm a total weirdo and I don't understand WHY it eventually makes me anxious! Keep up the great videos! I just mute when I need a mental break! 😉

  • If a hardened piece of debris is not removed, from the ear drum after an infection, will it eventually loosen and migrate down the canal on its own?

  • With every peel, it's like Rhys scores a try, and in the stands are thousands of Welshmen singing their hearts out—Victory!

  • Oh this was great! Wonderful video concept!! It's so fun to see how much of a difference you make in your patients' ears. It's also super satisfying to see results so quickly.

Also, another peel to add to my favorites!!

  • HI, new subscriber here! I love your videos. I have a thing for gruesome looking bodily secretions and treatments like pimple popping and parasite removal, and now I have a new favourite in your channel. I really like the narration, I like to know what's going on and the reasons for not using what looks like something obviously easier to use. You seem to have a steady hand and work gently, much like my ear specialist (I have to have my ears microsuctioned every 3 months) and I've no problem admitting that I am rapt over your videos, which feels weird to say! Thanks for the uploads 😀

  • I had outer and inner ear infections in both ears. it was horrible. I couldn’t even go to school for 2 weeks because of the pain. Long story short, don’t wear ear buds for a very long time. I have learned my lesson 😂

  • Question- why does YouTube not pay you for these videos?!! I mean, these videos probably bring in so much revenue for YouTube, yet he’s not getting any money for it?! I think if people who are terrible human beings get paid for doing rude and insensitive things to others, (cough cough, Jake Paul, James Charles, etc.) then he should get paid for providing informative videos to viewers multiple times a week!! I mean, is it that much to ask??!! All these YouTubers get into these scandals that make a bad name for youtube, yet they’re still being paid millions of dollars for every video they put out….. doesn’t seem right to me…….
